Photography related questions
What equipment do you use?
We use top-ranked equipment from Canon and Nikon brands in combination with assorted lenses. In addition, we utilize various photo assessors, such as reflectors, light filters, professional light, etc.
Do you have to reserve extra equipment in case if yours is out of order?
We absolutely do! When we arrive on location, we are equipped with at least three cameras (digital and analogue), as well as with reserved lenses and flashes.
Ultimately, testing of equipment is always performed prior to work.
How many pictures do you take during a wedding?
We do not set limitations for the number of pictures. There are approximately 1000 - 1500 pictures.
Do we need to prepare a list of family members that we would like to see in the pictures?
It will be extremely helpful to make a list of group pictures (relatives, friends) to ensure that nobody is missed. If you have specific ideas or requirements for a photographer, it is highly recommended to write it down and give to photographer prior to a wedding!
What places are suitable for the photo session?
This depends on your preferences. Some clients like bucolic places, such as parks, forests, gardens, and fields. Others prefer urban background (malls, train stations, crowded spaces, etc).
What if the weather will not be suitable for the photo session on the day of our event? Where can our pictures be taken?
In this situation several alternatives exist. We can arrange a photo session at the wedding hall and make necessary preparations for a portable photo studio (light, background, etc). Another option, is to take photos inside enclosed structures, such as hotels, malls, etc. You will need to prepare a list of possible alternative sites in advance and to find out whether a permission for a photo session is needed.
How much time is needed for a photo-session?
It is desirable to save as much time as possible for the photo-session. Frequently, majority of time is spent on hair design, make-up, etc., and not enough time is left for a photographer. In such situations photo-session must be done very quickly. Thus, we may not have a chance to take a lot of interesting pictures. We believe that it is essential to save at least two hours for a successful photo-session. Remember, a photographer is working in collaboration with a video operator, who requires additional time for his work!
May we take pictures in different places?
Yes, you can, but only if these sites are located within a few minutes of walking distance from each other. We always kindly recommend for a newlywed couple to minimize transit time on their wedding day. The time spent on driving, parking, and walking will be at the expense of a photo session. We advise you to decide in advance on a location for your photo session, as this will prevent you from a time-consuming search for a place on a wedding day. In addition, some places require permits for photo sessions.
You also need to think about alternative places should bed weather occur.
Can we continue photo and video session after the ceremony before our guests arrive?
Photographer and video operator need some time to get ready for their work in the wedding hall. We need to assemble equipment, prepare light, connect sound to musicians, take pictures of the hall and food. All of these must be done prior to arrival of the guests, as this process takes approximately an hour. After setting-up our equipment, we can take yours and your family pictures at the hall.
Can we take pictures on a separate day?
Of course. This is a good option for newly-wed couple. In this case you will not need to rush and can choose any place for your photo session. You will also have more time for the photography.
Can our friends take pictures with us? Will this interfere with your work?
You friends may take pictures with you during the ceremony and dance, but not at the time of photo session.
How soon can we expect to see our pictures?
Within six weeks of your event, all photos will be placed on online photo gallery and you will receive individual password for access.
Do we receive all pictures?
Yes, as soon as payment is obtained, you will receive all your photos on a disc. Our company retains copyright to these materials and may use it for advertising purposes.

Video related questions
What’s better, one camera or two?
If your wedding is relatively small and the place for a photo session is located in close proximity to your wedding hall, one camera is sufficient. However, you may also be aware that the presence of two video operators may noticeably enrich video material and allow to capture more interesting and unique moments. The use of two cameras is essential when photo session is planned farther away from the wedding hall, which requires the second video operator to arrive directly to the wedding hall while you are still on a photo session.
What type of wedding films do you make?
We are offering traditional “long” movies, along with “short” movies that are up to 40 minutes in length.
What is a “short movie”?
“Short” movie is actually an excerpt of the most fascinating moments from your wedding. It is a movie that is composed of various video clips.
When you write description of your services, you mention radio microphones and direct connection to DJ, or musicians. Can you explain advantages of this sound?
Usually, video operators record sound on camera’s microphone. In this case, microphone also records background noises. In addition, microphones record sound from specific direction. For example, if operator turned or moved to another side of the hall, the quality of sound diminishes. In comparison, radio microphones, render only clear sound without any interferences, or noises.
You are referring to “full HD” format, what is that?
Usually, operators record video at “DV” format. This format produced rather mediocre quality (720-480), equivalent to that you may see on DVD. But another alternative for a wedding video is to use HDV format. HDV quality is superior to DV, however, still not the best. Our video operators work with Panasonic AG-HPX500 cameras that guarantee maximum quality, such as on BD-VIDEO. For more information about different formats click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video
Can we make specific requests for our wedding movie?
In order for you to receive movie that matches your requests, we are asking you to complete request form for video editing, which will be done according to your requests.
We want to have slide show from our childhood pictures in a wedding movie. Is it possible?
Definitely!
Is it possible to make corrections to the movie after we received it on DVD?
In order to provide you with movie that you will like and to prevent time consuming corrections, we give to our client option to fill out request form for video editing where you can indicate all specific requests and wishes. In case where you don’t have any specific requests, video editing will be done at our discretion. Should any technical errors be made (e.g. typos, or music that is not per clients’ request) we will correct it without any additional charges. For any other corrections (if you decide to change music, effects, etc.) additional charges will apply to reimburse video editor services. In order to prevent extra payments you can order copy of a movie for preview.
